We offer a variety of services to meet all the unique needs of our patients. We provide yearly comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses exams as well as fittings of lenses, including some specialty lenses. We have the latest equipment to assist with the diagnosis of most medical conditions of the eye, as well as many systemic health conditions and diseases. We also treat many medical conditions of the eye; we deal with glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, lazy eye, amblyopia, myopia control, dry eye, pink eye, and hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy. We serve adults as well as children aged four years and older.
Everyone should have a comprehensive eye exam, a “physical of their eyes,” every year. In reality, a year is a long time when it comes to healthcare, so it’s important to not only check vision, but first and foremost to check the health of the eye. Health comes first and glasses or contacts come second. With the advancements in technology and medication that have come about over the years, we’re now able to diagnose and treat conditions much better than in the past. What remains the same is that once vision is lost, it’s lost. That’s why a yearly “physical of the eye” is so important. Once we have the health of our patients’ eyes established, then we proceed to dealing with vision. What good is a pair of glasses or contacts if there’s an issue going on with the eye that’s causing vision loss. We need to ensure the eyes are healthy; proper eye care is all about quality preventative care.

We want to educate our patients and explain why our prescriptions and treatments are going to be the best courses of action to correct your vision and satisfy your eye care needs. At Eyes First, we offer the experience and expertise to help our patients, ranging from young children to the elderly, manage the health of their eyes. Our group of practices has served the communities of central and southern New Jersey for over 35 years and from the moment you step into one of our Vision Centers, we want you to know that our team will be honest and caring and that we will explain the rationale behind the prescription of specific treatments as well as how they will help you.
