Our eye care services always start with a comprehensive eye exam and vision test, which are important parts of your overall wellness regimen. These exams allow us to detect any abnormal eye movement or growths, assess your ability to see and focus, and determine your precise refractive error if you need corrective lenses. Regular eye exams are also your best defense against common causes of vision loss, such as diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. The sooner we spot the early warning signs of these conditions, the earlier we can treat them and prevent vision loss or other complications.
Contact lenses and eyeglasses are life-changers for many of our patients, and we will make sure your corrective eye wear is the right fit for you too. Our eyeglasses and sunglasses include a variety of flattering styles and designer frames, but we also help you protect your eyes with glare and UV resistance. If you lead an active lifestyle and prefer contacts, we will examine and measure your eyes to find the right size and type of contact lens, then help you adjust to wearing and maintaining them.
At Eyes First Vision Center, our optometry teams are committed to protecting every member of your family. We offer a variety of pediatric eye care services, from eye exams for children to vision tests for school physicals. Schedule regular preventive eye exams to make sure your child can learn, read, and play without any vision-related obstacles.
Your cornea is responsible for refracting light to your retinas. When corneas are damaged or malformed – whether by infection or injury, or as a result of a chronic condition such as keratoconus or Fuchs' dystrophy – your vision becomes cloudy or blurry because your retinas cannot perceive the correct images. Corrective lenses and other conservative treatments aren't always able to correct this damage. If we recommend cornea transplants or LASIK surgery from a local eye surgeon, we will handle the pre-op assessment and provide comprehensive post-op eye care to maximize your results and help you heal.
At Eyes First Vision Center, we know how important it is to have a local optometry team you can trust. Your vision and eye health depend on regular eye exams and up-to-date corrective prescriptions, and we want to protect as many patients as possible with personalized, regular eye care services close to home. That's why we have ten different locations in New Jersey, allowing us to provide regular vision exams and other eye care services for patients throughout three different counties.
